What the service does

VEGA Style rewrites an AI-written draft to sound like you. It can also write from key points you give it, in your own style. Reading your writing (training), rewriting the text, and writing from key points all happen on the equipment of our contractor in the United States. You can keep a separate voice for each kind of writing — email, an article, and so on.

During training and retraining only, a selection of the text you give us also goes to another contractor, Anthropic, PBC. Its service processes that text in the United States. Nothing goes to Anthropic, PBC when we rewrite a draft or write from key points. Where the text is processed and how it is handled are covered in the privacy policy.

Getting started

There are two ways to get started.

• Onboarding — about an hour and a half to two and a half hours, writing around sixteen pieces to the material we prepare.
• Handing over writing you already have — we pick out what we can use, and show you a list of what we used and what we set aside.

It usually takes five to eight days from application to the start of service. We write and train using what you wrote, or what you handed over. You choose between two finished candidates before you start using the service.

If you hand over writing you already have, it must be writing you wrote yourself, or writing you otherwise have the right to give us. Please avoid including other people's confidential information.

Results depend on the amount and nature of the text you give us, and we cannot promise them in advance.

Fees and payment

Retraining prompted by a base model update on our side is free for anyone with a current monthly subscription.

Rewriting and writing from key points have a combined monthly limit, counted in characters. The limit is 80,000 characters a month on Standard and 300,000 characters a month on Max.

We count the characters of the rewritten text we write for you and of the text we write from key points, added together. Spaces and line breaks count. If we write several candidates, we count them all together.

The month changes at the start of the month, Japan time. If your monthly plan starts partway through a month, we count from the time you took delivery.

We count after the text is written. So whether you rewrite a draft or write from key points, the last one that takes you past the limit is still written in full. After that, we do not accept rewrites or writing from key points until the next month.

Before you choose your finished candidate (before delivery), you can try rewriting or writing from key points up to 10 times in total. The trial is counted by the number of times you rewrite or write from key points, not by characters. When you choose your finished candidate, the trial ends and your monthly plan starts.

If you feel a rewrite or text written from key points changed the meaning, you can request a redo. You can request up to 2 redos each time you rewrite a draft or write from key points.

Each month, you can request up to 20 redos on Standard and up to 100 on Max. Redos do not count toward the monthly character limit. The app shows how many you have left.

You can pay by credit card. Payment runs through KOMOJU, a service from DEGICA Co., Ltd. You enter your card number on KOMOJU's own screen; we never receive it.

The setup fee is due when you apply. At that point, your card is saved with KOMOJU for the monthly fee. The monthly fee starts on delivery day, the day you choose your finished candidate. After that, it renews automatically on the same date every month.

Refunds

We refund the setup fee in full if you ask before you choose your finished candidate. We do not refund it after that.

For the monthly fee, we stop billing from your next renewal. We do not refund a partial month.

If a defect stops you using the service properly, we handle it individually. Write to support@vegaworks.net.

Pausing and resuming the monthly plan

You can cancel your monthly plan at any time from the VEGA Works Account Center. See Refunds for when billing stops and how refunds are handled.

Without a monthly subscription, you cannot use the rewriting feature or the feature for writing from key points. Your trained voice and any personal model are kept, so resuming your subscription picks up right where you left off. How long we keep it is covered in the privacy policy.

When your monthly plan ends, including cancellation, a refund, or a stop in payment, we delete the text of yours that we keep and the fingerprint of your training text. Your trained voice (coefficients) and your personal model stay.

If you want to train again after your monthly plan ends, you hand the text over to us again. The details are in the privacy policy.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account with the “Delete account” button in the VEGA Works Account Center. Before it goes through, we ask you to enter a new verification code, which we email to you.

Deletion starts right after you confirm. There is no grace period, and it cannot be undone.

We delete your email address, sign-in records, usage records, and subscription details and status. We also delete the text you gave us (the stored copies and any temporary copy), your trained voice (coefficients), your personal model, and the fingerprint of your training text. Their encrypted backups are deleted along with them. However, what we store on our contractor's equipment, and the backups, are deleted in turn according to our deletion order, so this can take a few hours.

Your monthly plan stops. We bill nothing more, and we do not refund a partial month. The card saved with KOMOJU is deleted too.

If training is in progress, we cancel it. Any retraining you have not used — for example, the two free retrainings with Gold or Platinum — is lost, and is not refunded. As described in Refunds, we do not refund after delivery.

If you have paid the setup fee but not yet chosen your finished candidate (before delivery), we do not delete your account. Please ask us for a refund first, at support@vegaworks.net. As described in Refunds, we refund the setup fee in full before delivery. After the refund is made, you can delete your account.

Some records remain after deletion, and we cannot remove them ourselves. Deleted data can stay in Cloudflare, Inc.'s database restore history for up to 30 days. RunPod, Inc.'s job records can include the text you gave us. RunPod deletes the records of training jobs on its side at most 6.5 hours after submission, and the records of rewrite and write-from-key-points jobs at most 70 minutes after submission. RunPod's logs are deleted after 90 days.

If you sign in again later with the same email address, you start with a new, empty account.

How we handle your data

How we handle the text and information you give us is covered in the privacy policy.

Rights to what we produce

The rewritten text and the text written from key points are yours. We claim no rights to it.

What you may not do

Please do not:

• train it on writing that is not your own, passed off as yours
• use it to try to get past a tool that judges who wrote a piece
• use it to produce text meant to break the law

What we can't promise

Please check the rewritten text and the text written from key points yourself for accuracy. VEGA Style adjusts phrasing. It does not verify whether the content is true.

The service is provided as it is. We can't promise it will be free of faults or always available. To the extent the law allows, VEGA Works is not liable for losses arising from its use.

Changes

These terms may change. When they do, the date at the top changes. We will give advance notice of any material change.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the law of Japan. Any dispute arising from these terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court with authority over our registered address, as the court of first instance.
